Day 7: Your opinion on cheating on people.
I think cheating is stupid and unjustifiable. If you don’t care about someone enough to not cheat on them, give it up. If you do cheat on someone, please don’t be a idiot and try to hide it. Chances are, they aren’t an idiot, unless of course that’s why you cheated on them to begin with, but really, that just brings us back to the whole “why are you with them?”...

Day 6: The person you like and why you like them.
I like a lot of people, but I’m going to talk about my roommate because I don’t give her enough credit sometimes. Molly’s been my best friend since 1st grade and we’re really more like sisters at this point. As much as I complain about her, I care about her more than anything. She doesn’t make me feel like I have to hide things, and I don’t. Although she might...

Day 5: 5 things that irritate you about the...
So, like, five things that irritate me about people? That’s what I’m going to do.
People who buy tickets to shows JUST to sell them for outrageous prices. Really? Come on. You suck.
People who type slowly. I’ve been a fairly proficient typist since elementary school,* so when people take several minutes to type one sentence, I get irritated. I think this is entirely rational,...

Day 4: What you wear to bed.
To be specific, usually a Hanes men’s tagless undershirt. I threw away a lot of old t-shirts, needed something to wear to bed, and they were on sale at Target. So, that and underwear. If I’m particularly chilly, I’ll add leggings and a sweater, but I usually end up taking them off in the middle of the night.

Day 3: What kind of person attracts you?
This isn’t very specific, so I’ll go about this answer generally. I’m attracted to people with similar interests (i.e. the things found on this blog) with whom I can have a worthwhile conversation. Maturity is a big factor in the attraction. I appreciate it when people care about their education and future, but I guess that falls within the shared interest category. I could...

Day 2: How have you changed in the past 2 years?
For one, I have real friends, as opposed to convenient ones. It’s become pretty clear over the past two years who’s in my life to stick around. Those are the people who count. The others have been slowly, but surely, filtered out and I’m grateful for that. Neither end of the equation was getting much out of it, so what’s the point? More recently, I’ve stopped giving a...

I just want to take this moment to express how much I love my bed.

Day 1: Weird things you do when you're alone.
My life gets cluttered really quickly and somehow there are always dishes in the sink, so I clean a lot. I guess the only thing that makes this a “weird thing” is that I’ve been asked on multiple occasions if I have OCD because I clean so often. I don’t, as far as I’m concerned. And I do clean when there are people around, just not as often, but I...

Thanks, Mom.
Mom: What are you doing?
Kate: Cleaning.
Mom: Wanna come home Saturday and help me clean?
Kate: I would, but I have plans.
Mom: HAHAHA NO YOU DON'T HAHAHAHAHA.
Kate: ...Yeah, I actually do.
Mom: HAHAH You're such a liar! What are your plans, hm?
Kate: I'm going thrifting with Sarah then going out for coffee with Adam.
Mom: Oh...you really do have plans...
Kate: Yeah. Thanks for making me feel really pathetic though, MOM.
